A Paws For Celebration

Join us for A Paws for Celebration: A fundraising telethon presented by Mariano Morales Law, celebrating the Yakima Humane Society and the animals that they serve.

We will be live from The Seasons Performance Hall stage on Friday, October 23rd at 7:00 p.m. The Yakima Humane Society is excited to announce their first fundraising telethon with a little help from KAPP 35 and our friends Dave Ettl and Micah Cawley! We will be sharing all of the wonderful work that the Humane Society does in Yakima County, the people who support our cause and the animals that we give a voice to. During that time, you will be able to donate to help us continue to serve the Yakima Valley. If you’d like to donate now, hop onto our website and donate directly from our home page! www.yakimahumane.org

Thank you to our awesome sponsors: YCH, John I. Haas, Inc., Conover Insurance, Tree Top, Amy Thiessen Maib, Home Loans by Angie Giussi - NMLS #487454

The Yakima Humane Society was founded in 1904, becoming an incorporated entity in 1906. We are a private, nonprofit animal welfare organization proud to be serving the people and animals of Yakima County for over 100 years. We practice and promote the humane treatment of animals through animal control services, pet adoption, humane education, information, referral and quality animal care. Mission Statement The Yakima Humane Society is committed to ending animal suffering and cruelty, reducing animal overpopulation, and educating the public regarding responsible pet ownership while promoting community kindness and commitment to their welfare.

Facts: We are an independent, nonprofit organization. We are not associated with any government agency, nor affiliated with any national organization. We are the only open admission animal shelter in the entire county. All pets are welcome here. We can never, and will never, close our doors or say we're full. We save more than 5,000 animals a year. With no time limits.
